mito, often likened to a bean or pea, is in fact a small alien blob! The many mito illustrations primarily revolve around capturing everyday moments imbued with nostalgia and fun.
Originally conceived as a webcomic, mito gained significant traction through its distinctive Telegram stickers, which have now been used over 5 million times worldwide to date.

STICKERS
First published on Telegram, mito stickers have since evolved into physical stickers and even animated ones! mito stickers, often reflecting various moods, offer glimpses into the artist's daily life while remaining relatable, sparking the imagination of many.
Multiple sticker collections have been made available for sale through the online mito store, as well as at art fairs and markets.

CDAC 'Ready for School' 2024
CHINESE DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE COUNCIL
At the end of 2024, I had the privilege of designing a range of creative materials for the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC)’s annual ‘Ready for School’ event. This initiative supports families and children as they gear up for the new school year, and allows them to experience cultural games and experiences from different countries across Asia.
For this project, I developed a character in the spirit of the organisation, with various variants inspired by various cultural landmarks, bringing a playful yet relatable touch to the materials. I also worked on background and event visuals that tied the theme together, and collaterals including sticker sheets and redemption cards to enhance the experience and engagement of attendees, especially the younger participants.

An Epic Playground
SAMSUNG SINGAPORE X CASETIFY X MEETMITO
As part of a collaboration between Samsung and Casetify, I was invited to design two phone cases with the theme An Epic Playground for the launch of this year's Galaxy S24 series devices, together with 11 other local artists.
I drew inspiration from my childhood years growing up in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore in conceptualising and developing these cases and Galaxy Themes.

This design is inspired by my childhood in Ang Mo Kio, where one of the few remaining dragon playgrounds in Singapore is found.
The design evokes a sense of childhood nostalgia, and a simpler way of life. This design incorporates the Galaxy S devices’ iconic multi-camera setup as part of the eye of the dragon.

This design captures the innocence and wonder from a child's perspective, the thrill of simple moments and the limitless adventures they contain— a single coin on the home screen wallpaper represents an endless possibilities unlocking a world of boundless imagination.
Faction (CBF) Explainer Animation
FACTION (CBF)
This 90-second animation was designed to introduce and simplify how Faction operates, blending fun and engaging visuals with a clear and concise narrative. The goal was to capture the essence of Faction’s mission: empowering creators, brands, and fans to build meaningful connections and collaborate in new, impactful ways.

The explainer showcases how Faction enables creators to profit by endorsing brands they genuinely support, while fans can back their favorite creators and engage with their preferred brands. It also highlights how creators and agencies can form alliances to collaborate with brands and expand their reach within relevant communities. Through vibrant visuals and compelling storytelling, this animation serves as a window into the exciting possibilities within Faction’s ecosystem.

'francs' character stickers
NCS GROUP
I collaborated with NCS Group to design 10 stickers across two sticker sheets. Each sticker features the NCS mascot, Francs, in various dynamic and relatable poses and expressions.
These stickers sheets were utilised as part of the organisation's outreach efforts to youths in tertiary educational institutes.

PILOT SINGAPORE X MCC INTERNATIONAL
In collaboration with Pilot Singapore and MCC International, I designed three postcards capturing everyday life in Singapore, created to celebrate Singapore's 58th birthday in 2023. Designs were also adapted as limited-edition Pilot Acroball pens!
These merchandise were distributed through giveaways and redemptions in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and Cathay Cineplexes.

AUNTIE ANNE'S SINGAPORE
By their 25th year of operations locally in Singapore, Auntie Anne's has become a household brand in Singapore, delighting families with their soft pretzels and assorted snacks.
This design celebrates their long history in Singapore, with top-selling items portrayed as adorable cartoon characters to capture the vibrant essence and values of the brand, which focuses on delivering joy to consumers.
The design since been featured on merchandise, employee uniforms, as well as in promotional material.

words of change
VIRTUE SINGAPORE X PINKDOTSG
Created by Virtue, Words of Change invites artists to transform heartfelt messages of hope written by attendees of Singapore’s annual Pink Dot event for LGBTQIA+ equality, into art pieces. These works were then exhibited across a network of 30 public spaces on the island, preserving the inspirational messages beyond the one-day event.
'A Society Where We Can All Freely Exist!', my contribution for this initiative, was displayed at Sando Singapore in September 2022, and auctioned off thereafter, with profits going towards local LGBTQ+ organizations.

In addition to social media management, I conceptualized, designed and produced a range of hall merchandise, and liaised with council members of other halls and represented Hall 15 in the NTU Hall Olympiad Committee.

HALL IDENTITY

A simple yet versatile motif was created to represent the tenure of the 20th Hall Council. This logo was utilised in all published hall media over the course of the academic year.

Council and Subcommittee Apparels
With the XV logo that was created to represent the hall’s identity serving as the central pillar of the shirt’s design, I aimed to create a pattern that would encompass Hall 15’s culture.

In conjunction with our hall’s 20th Anniversary, we launched a new collection with 2000s-inspired designs and faded colours.

OTHER PROJECTS
XVTV - Hall 15 Video Productions
At the start of my term as Publicity Director in 2020, I wanted to introduce video productions to the hall, seeing as there were few creative avenues for residents to express themselves in. This would entail recurring IGTV content covering different aspects of hall life, short films, or even topics that we find interesting. Through the initiation of this new project, we hope that more residents will become more involved in hall, and also learn more about its unique inhabitants and stories as well by watching our videos.
Since its inception, XVTV has strived to cover various aspects of everyday hall life. Our titles include Mr Segar's Legacy, a video interview with a canteen vendor, Lost, an eerie short film for Halloween 2021, as well as multiple music videos for the hall jam band.

FIFTEEN was designed as a no-frills guide to convey essential information of the hostel into an online zine, for incoming freshmen who might be interested in staying with us this academic year, while keeping the design fun and interesting.
As past guides produced within Hall 15 (and across various residences in NTU in general) tend to be overly cluttered with information, I aimed to streamline it to just the basics - a packing list, location guide, general tips and contacts list, as well as food options.
