As a unique green blob with a personality to match, mito first came to life back in December 2016, starting as a webcomic, and primarily gained popularity through its iconic Telegram stickers! As of 2022, mito telegram stickers have been used over 2.74 million times around the world.

meet mito, a tiny green blob from Singapore!

well, not from Singapore exactly - this little creature has traversed the stars and across galaxies to land (read: crash) on Earth, and is now bumbling around

I started drawing and posting short mito webcomics on Instagram in December 2016 (back then he was a more elongated creature with long squiggly arms) and I never stopped!

Over the years, as my art style refined, I reinvented mito’s design several times, developing mito into its current look!

Today, I post mito content to over 1.5K followers on Instagram.

First published on Telegram, mito stickers have since evolved into physical stickers and even animated ones! Multiple sticker collections have been made available for sale through the online mito store, as well as physical booths.

'The Fall'

Short animated film created on Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate

Created using Adobe After Effects in June 2020 as a passion project, The Fall follows mito's journey to an outer space gas station outpost, and the hilarious catastrophes that ensue.

This 2-minute short film was produced (painstakingly) in two months, with no prior Adobe After Effects experience, during the Circuit Breaker lockdown. Every element seen on screen was designed and created in  either Illustrator and Procreate!

Effort was made to make what was seen in the (very brief) time we spend with mito feel like a lived in universe - A shuttle can be seen taking off right before mito lands, and in the wide shot of the gas station, we see a floating advertisement for the very robot assistant that was stationed there (who stares as mito lands and takes off from the gas station!)
